01 Oct 2007
Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria will be countries of the year at the 37th Midest show, 13-16 November 2007, in Paris. The four day event will be the largest international gathering of subcontracting technical expertise and services for the processing of metals, plastics, electronics and electricity.
By shining the spotlight on the subcontracting market in North Africa and providing an eagerly anticipated and high quality presentation, Midest is seeking to bring the activities of these countries to the fore. It is also intended as a tribute to their loyalty. Tunisia has been attending the show since its launch, Morocco arrived in 1990 and the organizers are delighted to welcome Algeria back after an absence of several years.
On 15th November A series of conferences will be devoted to the three countries and these will allow visitors, exhibitors and professional associations to discuss such important questions as, “The new industrial Morocco: infrastructure and expertise”, “The Tunisian experience in the field of subcontracting and industrial partnership”, or “The Algerian experience in relation to the development and promotion of subcontracting”.
