New ETB board members

The Engineering and Technology Board, an independent organisation that promotes the essential role of science, engineering and technology in society, has appointed six new members to its Board of Trustees.
The new Trustees have been brought in to strengthen the Board, improve communications with the engineering community, and increase the participation of key engineering bodies in the future direction of the organisation.
The new Board members are: Philip Greenish CBE, Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Engineering; Tom Foulkes, Director General of the Institution of Civil Engineers; Stephen Matthews, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers; Robin McGill, Chief Executive and Secretary of the Institution of Engineering and Technology; Keith Read CBE, Chief Executive of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and Ruth Spellman OBE, Chief Executive of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Sir Anthony Cleaver, Chairman of the ETB Board, said,
“I am pleased to welcome these new Board members with their experience and knowledge from across the Engineering Community. I look forward to working with them and the rest of the Board to raise awareness of engineering and its contribution to society.”
