In-house hardening facility offered on subcontract basis

Berkeley & Co Ltd is one of the few manufacturing companies in the UK that operates and maintains its own production heat treatment department. This facility has been developed and improved over the last 50 years, and is now being offered on a subcontract basis.
The Shaker Hearth furnaces provide efficient and consistent throughput suitable for hardening many production parts.
In addition, in-house facilities for degreasing and cleaning by barrels or vibratory equipment are also available to support other manufacturers with compatible products.
The foundation and specialisation of Berkeley & Co has been the manufacture of split rings for key rings and other non-threaded fastening applications, which are sold worldwide.
