Northern Manufacturing, 2-3 October, is the largest annual exhibition dedicated to serving the needs of manufacturing industry in the North of England.
The Hallam Arena in Sheffield makes the show easily accessible to visitors from the Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield areas.

Claro Precision Engineering (stand G12) specialises in providing a full contract manufacturing service. This service includes design, development, & prototyping of quality precision machined parts, kits & assemblies. Supporting OEMs in medical, electronics, laser, aerospace, microwave, defence & instrumentation industries. Claro is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 AS9100 and is recognised as an Investor In People. Further assessment has been done under the DTI sponsored GTMA World Class Awards where Claro are externally assessed as World Class.
Cramlington Precision Forge Ltd, (stand stand B12) is a 100% subsidiary of the International Automotive Supplier, "Sundram Fasteners Ltd". Our extensive portfolio covers Hot and Cold Precision Forgings, Powder Metal Components, Fuel, Water and Oil Pump Assemblies and an extensive range of high quality Fasteners. The product range covers heavy and light duty products up to 40kgs for the automotive and commercial vehicle markets, and can compete in a globally competitive environment.
Creative Group (stand B25) provides a complete Design to Production sub-contract service including precision machining, metal joining, testing and design- supplying leading names in the process, research, semiconductor & aerospace industries across Europe. Services include CNC machining/milling, electron beam welding, vacuum/induction brazing, vacuum heat treatment, TIG welding, as well as design, vacuum testing & inspection. They also supply a wide range of vacuum fittings/components & instrumentation for the measurement of vacuum & pressure.
Mifa Aluminium (stand A24) specialises in tight tolerance aluminium extrusions. Mifa is able to extrude tolerances up to ± 0,015 mm. The company offers profiles of demanding shapes and sizes, a good surface finish, and press extreme thin wall thicknesses from 0.3 mm. There is no minimum order quantity, and Mifa also offers finished products by using facilities such as CNC machining, surface treatment and assembly.
Mintdale Engineering (stand C43) produces CNC machined parts in metals and plastics. With CAD-CAM, automation, and lights-out production, can compete with global competitors, especially on smaller batch runs. Established over 30 years Mintdale Engineering has introduced a quality management systems to ISO 9001/2000, and the latest manufacturing techniques with numerous CNC machines, lathes with live tooling, sub-spindles and C axis, CNC milling with 4th axis, CMM, conventional turning, milling, drilling, grinding, sub-assemblies. Own vans enable daily deliveries.
Proetch Services Ltd (stand A2) specialises in the chemical milling of metal components, taking the design from conception to prototype, and then all the stages necessary to get into full production. With low cost tooling/piece price and fast turnaround, the company offers a same day service. (Normal delivery is five to seven days.) The company also provides the following services in-house: plating, soldering, standoffs, rivet bushes and forming. One off or high volume requirements.
TMS Precision Manufactirung Division (stand D6) Manufacturing at TMS can find the optimum solution to any productive engineering problem by giving advice on design, material selection and production techniques. The company has a range of the latest most advanced machinery from CNC turning and CNC machining, water jet cutting systems, punching/bending facilities and a CMM machine ensuring precision on all projects.
