Machined shafts added to Blue Diamond range

Blue Diamond can now supply high precision-machined shafts for critical applications in a wide range rotating machinery and equipment such as pumps, conveyors and mixers. Components are available in low or high volumes and a wide variety of materials. The shafts can include features such as oilways, keyways, threads, and splines.
Blue Diamond specialises in providing precision, low cost engineered components for its customers. By using the latest 3D CAD software packages, manufacturing data and customer requirements are communicated to manufacturing partners to provide the most economical solution. It can work from product samples, traditional engineering drawings or electronic files and has over 30 years experience in sourcing components from the Far East.
Blue Diamond recognises that shafts are a key component in a rotating machine and all features are rigorously checked once the shafts have arrived in the UK. For example, many shafts incorporate critical seal running areas, which must be machined and inspected, to exacting standards to prevent costly leaks during service.
Finished products are appropriately packaged to protect them during transportation. And, because Blue Diamond is able to ship in bulk, shipping costs are minimised providing further savings for the customer.
