A low cost diecasting service has been introduced by Rencol, providing manufacturers with a cost effective alternative to machining. Volumes can range from prototypes to mass production in aluminium, zinc and special alloys – with other materials on request.
Rencol's diecasting service provides manufacturers with a cost effective alternative to machining
Rencol says that by taking advantage of its established China-based supply chain, it can deliver a fast, high quality and very cost effective service. Minimum order quantities can be as low as only 300 pieces and even lower quantities for large castings.
The company also offers full machining and component assembly services, including mould making, assembly, surface finishing, drilling, tapping, sanding and related operations.
"We provide low cost sourcing from China without the risk," said Tony Swash, Rencol's sales and marketing director. "By using our own factories in China we supply first class quality at extremely competitive prices."
Rencol's group facilities in China are based in Shanghai and Ningbo. Its supply chain operation has nearly 30 English-speaking personnel in the company’s Shanghai office specialising in design, engineering, quality and logistics. It also has quality and engineering personnel operating permanently in all of the manufacturing facilities.
Free tooling can be offered on high volume production jobs, or if the component is attractive enough to be added to Rencol's own range of products. Dedicated stock is held against customer call-off at the company's Bristol warehouse.
