Rapid delivery of linear guides and machined shafts

Precision bearing and automotive component manufacturer Schaeffler (UK) Ltd is now offering UK customers a rapid delivery. The new Linear Quick-Centre at its manufacturing plant in South Wales aims to offer 24-hour deliveries on linear systems, rails, shafts, cages and carriages, as well as deliveries within two working days for machined shafts.

CNES builds big grinder for Wyman-Gordon

Corus Northern Engineering Services (CNES) has built and installed a 19m long grinding machine for Wyman-Gordon Ltd, a manufacturer of seamless pipes for the offshore oil, gas and power generation industry, based in Livingston, Scotland. The machine will help to reduce lead times for process pipe.
