    Anti-corrosion specialist Corrocoat Corrosioneering has won contracts worth in excess of 1m the manufacture and corrosion protection of large bore power generation cooling water system butterfly valves.

    To meet growing demand for its wire joining and tensioning devices, Gripple invested in its first fully automated assembly machine from SP Technology in 2005.   • Press tool maker invests £750,000 to lead in accuracy

    A Redditch company, Harper and Simmons, has established itself as the only press tool subcontractor in the United Kingdom with a £750,000 Shin Nippon Koki (SNK) tool and die multi-centre. The company says that this will allow it to offer the most accurate and efficient machine milling, drilling and boring available in the industry.
