German EMS link for Season

Electronic manufacturing services providers Season Group and Logatec GmbH Logistik Technologie have agreed to collaborate to give OEM customers maximum flexibility and cost benefits.
As a vertically integrated EMS provider, Season specialises in design, complex electromechanical assembly, PCBA, plastic injection moulding, thermoforming, cable & harness, logistics and after-market services.
The Group provides products and services for a wide range of applications in the medical, industrial, automotive, safety and security, environmental and communications markets from its manufacturing facilities in China, Hong Kong, Canada, USA and Malaysia.
Logatec is one of Germany’s leading EMS and has been a major player in this sector for almost 20 years. Its services includes design, prototyping, electronic assembly, after-market services, logistics coordination and warehousing services.
Carl Hung, Vice President of Season Group said the move will provide a strong footing from which to expand its presence and offer customers a truly global design, manufacturing, after-market and supply chain solution.
“We will now be actively approaching European customers and can further support our North American and Asian customers as they grow into Europe with final assembly and after market services out of Kölleda, Germany,” he said.
Ralph Zühlsdorff, CEO of Logatec added: "We are proud to start the collaboration on EMS with Season Group. It is an important step in our strategy to diversify into new markets like healthcare, new energy and life sciences and will enable us to grow more quickly in these areas."
