One-hit machining can save time and money
Sliding head turning centres can produce parts in one from bar, saving buyers money.
Subcontractors using machines such as Star and Citizen multi-axis sliding head machines can combine operations so that parts can be made in one cycle where they would previously require multiple operations. This can reduce setup times, speed deliveries, trim costs and improve quality.
