BPD Manufacturing can now vacuum- or blow-form plastic sheet through three planes into complex shapes up to 3.5m x 1.6m in size.
The components can be as thin as 0.3mm, with a draw of up to 1.4m, to tolerance of ±0.25mm.
Forming is offered for a range of plastic sheet materials, including virgin and recycled HIPS, ABS, rigid PVC, PP, HDPE, CPS, CHD, GRP, styrene, acrylic, Kydex and polycarbonate.
Batch sizes range from one-offs upwards and production is complemented by an in-house testing laboratory and post-production services incorporating 3 and 5 axis trimming, punching, ultrasonic welding, surface treatment and assembly, delivering a finished component for the customer.
BPD Manufacturing is accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. Its client list includes leaders in their sectors Glidevale, Passivent, Total Hygiene/ Clos-o-Mat, Honda, Balfour Beatty, Lear Corporation, Alton Towers and Tesco.
