Magna Parva gets closer to customers
Magna Parva has opened a new office at the Start Electron offices within the Innovation Centre on the Harwell Science & Innovation Campus.
This campus also houses well known research organisations such as Rutherford Appleton Laboratories (RAL), the Medical Research Council and the Diamond Light Source synchrotron.
Magna Parva’s work often involves taking early stage ideas from universities or private sector clients and developing them through to complete products, providing new to the world solutions in response to highly demanding challenges.
The company’s technology transfer function, headed up by managing director, Andrew Bowyer, will use the Harwell office as the base for its activities, where it will be able to maintain closer contacts with the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), which is a customer and a partner for research and development activities.
“Although we already enjoy close working relationships, we are looking forward to being physically closer to some of our customers”, says Andrew Bowyer.
Magna Parva maintains its head office at Bardon Hill in Leicestershire, and also has a facility in Milton Keynes supporting scale up activities.
